We regret that due to previously unannounced roadworks which have closed Weald Road, buses on the 5, s5 and TW3 are unable to serve Weald Road.
Buses on these services will double-run into and out of Weald Village from Morleys roundabout and will use River Hill and not Hubbards Hill or Weald Road.
We will update this message once we are aware of how long these works are likely to take.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused
Affected Services:
In order to provide a more reliable arrival time at the schools both services will run 10 minutes earlier in the mornings from the start of the January term.
New timetables can be downloaded or viewed on our website
Due to overloading issues on the S7 and S8 the S8 is being extended to Brasted. The S5 will be operated by a double decker and will also be diverted to serve Witches Lane and Riverhead Tesco to help with capacity on the S8.
New timetables for the S5 and S8 can be downloaded or viewed on our website.
We have undertaken a route survey ready for the start of schools on a number of our services which need double deckers.
We regret that we will be unable to serve Farningham Village in the mornings on the D30 (it does not serve the village in the afternoons anyway)
There is a very low tree which is likely to cause damage to our buses and possibly injury to students if we were to use the High Street. Bus route D30 will divert away from the village until the offending tree is dealt with by KCC.
Buses on D30 (coming from Eynsford towards Dartford) will stop on Eynsford Road just south of its junction with the High Street and will then operate via the A20.
Update - Although the original branch which caused a danger has been successfully removed by KCC, there is now another which is presenting a danger. This has been advised to KCC for them to address.
